After completing a cycle of 28 Gatherings over 7 years at SerVivo, a special Regenerative Edition of Arrábida Dance Labs will take place at BioVilla.

​

Embracing the essence of David Abram's profound insight as the theme for this Regenerative Edition of Arrábida Dance Labs, we invite you to immerse yourself in a week of self-discovery and deep reconnection, among a multi-level group of participants, and supported by a team of teachers/researchers from different and complementary embodied practices. 

​

May we remember our common ground, and embrace our rebirth, echoed by the rhythms of nature. At Biovilla, a sanctuary of sustainable ecology, we will gather to explore the intricate relationship between our bodies and the Earth, recognizing that we are not separate from the natural world but an integral part of its ongoing evolution. 

​

Our bodies, like the landscapes that surround us, possess an innate wisdom, capable of healing, transforming, and rejuvenating.

​

It will be a unique "out of time" opportunity to experience our movement practices with a "deep ecology awareness" that will surely inspire and regenerate the upcoming 2nd Cycle, beginning with the 29th Edition in 2025, at its original birthplace - SerVivo.

​

​The Impermanent Community that we have been regularly summoning under the curation of Pedro Paz will now be supported by the collaborative spirit of Constança Morais. We are very happy to announce that this Interlude Gathering - which occurs only once at BioVilla - will be presented by Move In Touch | Productions and Release – Embodied Arts Portugal.

"Participants will be invited to reset and rejuvenate, allowing for a collective upgrade in our understanding of ourselves as agents of regeneration.

This is a space where Deep Ecology meets Somatic Movement, where Contact Improvisation and the rhythms of World Dances resonate with the heartbeat of the Earth.

Together, we will explore the profound ways in which our movements and expressions can contribute to the regeneration of both ourselves and the planet.​

Engaging in a rich tapestry of body-mind practices - therapeutic, artistic, and spiritual - 

we will honor our interconnectedness and awaken a sense of belonging in our bodies, on this Earth, and in this lifetime.
